Crude Oil Restrictions Ease: Exxon and BP America relaxed the terms of the force majeure they declared in the wake of the March 24 Alaskan oil spill. BP said the resumption of Alaskan oil tanker traffic will enable it to meet 100% of its April agreements to supply crude oil on the West Coast but that it will continue to restrict customers elsewhere to 80%. Exxon raised to 85% from 80% the share of its contract commitments it will be able to meet this month.
