Colombian police have uncovered clandestine graves that they think contain the bodies of at least 80 people believed murdered at what they called a training center for assassins. Miguel Maza Marquez said police found the bodies after raiding a ranch in Puerto Lopez, a rural area in Meta province, and arresting 10 Colombians they suspected of belonging to a center for killers. Maza Marquez said the ranch was owned by an emerald dealer, Victor Carranza, whose whereabouts are unknown. The area is inhabited by rival emerald dealers and drug traffickers.
