Commercial Scene : Calabasas Office Building Bought

A private investment company has bought a 91,000-square-foot office building in Calabasas for $16 million from a joint venture of Jaric Development Partners and Ahmanson Commercial Development Co.

The fully leased complex at 26541 Agoura Road was completed late last year. The building, which sits on 2.7 acres and overlooks U.S. 101, is anchored by Bank of New York’s ARCS Mortgage Inc. subsidiary.

The Klabin Co. of Los Angeles represented both sides in the transaction.
