Avalon Country Mart, a $3.5-million retail center, is under construction at 22000 Avalon Blvd., Carson.

The 15,500-square-foot project, developed by Century City-based Cloverleaf Group Inc., is expected to be completed in mid-summer by Coury Enterprises. Benton Park Candreva AIA designed it.
