Commercial Scene : Good Earth Restaurant to Open in Upland

Carl Sandy Inc. has purchased the first Good Earth Restaurant and Bakery franchise for Upland and has leased 7,000 square feet of space for it at Foothill Boulevard and Mountain Avenue, with an opening planned May 15.

The 20-year, $2.52-million lease was negotiated for Sandy Inc. by Zugsmith Commercial Real Estate. The landlord, James R. Smirl, represented himself.
