Although NBC struck out this season with a TV-series adaptation of the movie “Baby Boom,” it will try again next season with a comedy based on “Working Girl.” The network has ordered 13 episodes for the fall from Patchett-Kaufman Entertainment. The central role of the secretary-turned-businesswoman, played by Melanie Griffith in the film, will be filled by Nancy McKeon, one of the former stars of “The Facts of Life.”
