THE INTIMATE EXPERIMENT

I enjoyed reading “The Intimate Experiment.” In 1936, I crossed the border, an inexperienced 16-year-old. In 1941, I was deported; then in 1946, I applied for legal entrance. I started at the bottom. Now I’m in my 60s and still work at four different houses a week. I learned the language; the people love my work. I’m very grateful to all those people who take chances and give us work at their homes.
