Professional Healthcare Systems, Inc., Los Angeles, has named Michael L. Carrico president and chief executive. Gilbert Dwyer has resigned as interim chairman and will continue as a director. Carrico will continue in his capacity as chief information officer of American Medical International, Inc., which owns 65% of PHS. In other organizational moves, Walt Kaczor, senior vice president and chief financial officer, was elected to the PHS board. Also, Wayne Owens was elected senior vice president-sales and service; John Quinn, senior vice president-product development, and Kathy Stevens, vice president-product management.
