First National Corp., parent company of First National Bank, reported that first-quarter net income rose by 317% to $1 million, up from $247,000 during the first quarter a year earlier. Total assets rose by 19% to $454 million, from $380 million a year earlier. Loans rose by 7% to $322 million and deposits rose by 12% to $391 million.
