PS Group reported Tuesday that net income fell to $358,000 for the first quarter ended March 31, down from $2.7 million during the same quarter a year earlier. Quarterly revenue rose about 2%, to $56.8 million, up from $55.6 million. During the first quarter of 1988, PS Group reported $695,000 in net income from Statex Petroleum, which is now treated as a discontinued operation, and $2.2 million in net income generated by excess pension assets.
