Cutting Surtax on Medicare

President George Bush does not want to cut the Social Security surtax even though the Social Security system will be accumulating a surplus. Is this the same man who spoke of a kinder America?

For the cold and selfish purpose of making the federal budget look better than it actually is Bush would allow the elderly to suffer. This man is willing to manipulate statistics by manipulating the elderly.

With this action he would also be manipulating the people of this country as a whole by appearing to cut the budget debt when he is not doing so.

Is this the way a kind man acts? Many people felt President Reagan was insensitive to the needs of the poor and elderly. By comparison, I would say Reagan was glowing with warmth.
