Drug Babies
In response to the article on babies who are victims of drug abuse while yet unborn, I propose a new movement in our country--the “Right to Bear Life” group.
Under the rules of this movement, persons who have a history of drug abuse while pregnant, or have been convicted of felony child abuse, would, as a part of their sentences, be subject to sterilization.
Since the pro-lifers want government control of women’s bodies, they would surely support this action. Pro-choice persons could support reversible sterilization procedures for those who go straight. Those concerned with the high cost of health care should approve, since the case loads of damaged infants would drop dramatically.
Let’s be honest. Some people don’t deserve children.
