Pru-Bache Stock Traders Fired: Two senior stock traders at Prudential-Bache Securities Inc. were asked to resign for violating the investment company’s policies, a spokeswoman said. Prudential-Bache declined to identify the individuals or provide details of the violations said to have been discovered during an internal investigation of trading activities, but a source told the Associated Press that the two traders were Dan Marciano, head of Prudential-Bache’s equity trading desk, and William Grace, a specialist in transactions of large quantities of shares. The company said it gave a full report of the trading improprieties to the Securities and Exchange Commission.
