MULTIFAMILY HOUSING PERMITS DIPPING
Although the number of permits issued in February for new multifamily housing units increased 13% over January, the 1989 year-to-date total is the lowest for any of the last 4 years. A major decline in Anaheim figures highly in the countywide decrease from January/February, 1988, to the first 2 months of this year. The major increase in these permits has occurred in the county’s unincorporated areas. Following is the city-by-city change, rendered from largest decreases to largest increases:
