State Lifts Suspension on Marvin Davis Offer:...

State Lifts Suspension on Marvin Davis Offer: Minnesota Commerce Commissioner Michael Hatch said new details provided by Davis about his plans for the airline satisfied the state’s disclosure laws. Hatch suspended Davis’ hostile $90-a-share offer for the parent of Northwest Airlines in Minnesota two weeks ago, saying Davis didn’t provide enough information on how his plans to finance the acquisition would affect employees. The Los Angeles billionaire has since temporarily halted his tender offer as part of a deal with NWA to allow him to review the company’s books.
