American Ecology Posts $293,000 1st-Quarter Profit
American Ecology posted a first-quarter profit of $293,000 compared to a loss of $275,000 for the same period a year earlier. In the quarter that ended March 31, the Agoura Hills waste-management company said its revenue for continuing operations climbed 22% to $10.6 million from the same period a year earlier.
