Honolulu Investor Holds 7.9% Stake in Chantal

WASHINGTON —
Honolulu investor Garner Anthony said he acquired a 7.9% stake in Chantal Pharmaceutical Corp. for investment.
In a Securities and Exchange Commission filing, Anthony said he holds 1.17 million shares of Chantal, including 727,723 shares he bought from the company May 2 for $2 million.
The stake also includes 415,000 shares purchased between March 13 and May 15 for about $1.3 million.
Chantal is a Los Angeles skin-care products manufacturer.
