Anaheim : Anaheim Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident
An Anaheim man died of injuries suffered Thursday when he was thrown from his motorcycle after he swerved to avoid a car, police said.
Kevin Lee Butler, 18, was northbound on Lemon Street when a car driven by Erwin Johann Gendorf, 39, of Anaheim, stopped before completing a turn onto Commercial, Sgt. Charles Chavez said. Butler swerved, his motorcycle hit the curb and was thrown to the pavement.
Butler was taken to Anaheim Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Chavez said. Police are continuing to investigate the accident, he said, and have issued no citations.
