Tony Aliengena, an 11-year-old San Juan Capistrano boy, is piloting a single-engine plane in hopes of becoming the youngest person to ever circumnavigate the globe. Latest Leg From: St. Louis, Mo. Departure time: 11 a.m. Arrival time: 1 p.m. Total air time: 15 hours,10 minutes Total miles flown: 2,830 Total fuel expended: 291 gallons Highlight Friday, Tony reached the East Coast, where the mayor of Washington presented him with a proclamation. He also was greeted by former Sen. Howard Baker (R-Tenn.), who was leaving the airport in a Lear jet when Tony landed. Tony was to be the guest of local sponsors at dinner.
