It’ll Stop Going Up When It Stops Rising
After years of reading inane reasoning by “experts” on stock market behavior, one offered in your May 23 story, “Market Rebound Has Bulls Tiptoeing Back Into Stocks,” wins the prize hands down. For those who missed that gem, here it is: “Also, some experts say, the market may be moving up simply because it is moving up.” They could at least have given credit to Yogi Berra.
I suppose if they are asked how long the bull market will last they will reply: “It ain’t over till it’s over.” Or how about those immortal words: “It ain’t over till the fat lady sings”?
