Lianne Gallinatti of Newport Beach has been named executive director of the Newport Center Assn.

In that post, she will direct the association’s programs and activities. The association, formed in 1969, represents property owners and tenants who aim to improve the business environment in the mile-square Newport Center area.

Gallinatti was West Coast sales representative for Young Fashions Magazine, a trade publication targeting children’s apparel buyers.

She replaces Bridget Lehman, who left the association to become special events director for Newport Center Fashion Island.
