The ‘Sorcery’ Fund-Raiser Cancellation
I find the letter by the Rev. Jerry Tankersley of Laguna Beach Presbyterian Church to be hilarious. He is concerned about those “voices of spiritual powers that at times have proven to be destructive of human life,” i.e. psychics. Who does he think was behind the Inquisition, the Salem witch trials and countless other persecutions of the innocent throughout history? The fact is, Christianity has caused more deaths than any other mass-belief system on earth.
The psychics I know are among the most spiritually evolved people on the planet. They certainly aren’t involved with trying to control anyone else’s choices.
