VW Says Chinese May Buy Plant Equipment

Volkswagen of America says a Chinese company has tentatively agreed to buy the remaining equipment at its closed Westmoreland County assembly plant for an undisclosed price.

VW officials said the purchase agreement with First Automobile Workers of Changchun, China, calls for the equipment to begin being removed in about four months and shipped to China.
