ON THE SIDELINES : Kingdom Hurdles to 13.10 Seconds

VIGO, Spain — Olympic hurdles champion Roger Kingdom clocked the fastest time in the world this year, 13.10 seconds, as he crushed world record holder Renaldo Nehemiah in the 110 meters at an international track meet today. Kingdom had set the previous best time of the year Tuesday at Lausanne, when he was clocked at 13.13 for the 110-meter hurdles. Nehemiah finished fourth today as Kingdom swept past American Jack Pierce and Cuban Emilio Valle.
