AMI Deadline for Bids Passes: American Medical International’s official deadline for the submission of acquisition bids expired Thursday. The Beverly Hills-based hospital management chain has sought bids in the wake of $1.8-billion acquisition proposal from a partnership led by Clayton & Dubilier, a New York investment firm. The Clayton & Dubilier offer expired June 15. AMI executives would not say whether the firm has received other bids.
