WORLD : 8 Soviet Seamen Hurt in Peru Blast

LIMA, Peru —
A bomb exploded today on a tour bus carrying seamen of the Soviet fishing fleet, seriously injuring eight of the fishermen and damaging two other buses carrying Soviet visitors, police said.
The explosion occurred when the fishermen were boarding the bus after shopping in a Lima suburb, police and witnesses told radio stations.
No group claimed responsibility for the bombing, but Maoist Shining Path guerrillas have targeted Soviet citizens and diplomats in the past.
