Imported Dolls Seized; Pose Danger to Children

WASHINGTON — Federal agents have seized 53,000 imported dolls in a New York warehouse because children could choke on buttons, buckles and other pieces that come loose, the Consumer Product Safety Commission reported. The dolls, sold by mail order retailers as the “Dress Me Clown,” were imported by Etna Worldwide Corp. of New York.
