Former Prime Minister Andreas Papandreou of Greece married Dimitra Liani, an airline flight attendant half his age, after a torrid public love affair that scandalized many and contributed to his election defeat. Papandreou, 70, and Liani, 34, were married in a small Greek Orthodox chapel in the luxurious northern Athens suburb of Ekali, where they have lived together since October. The former prime minister, who ruled from 1981 until a crushing election defeat last month, had divorced his American wife, Margaret, just two days before losing the election.
