‘Seal Beach Chamber Music Is Rough, Aimless’ Review Answered

Frankly, I am very upset about the very damaging “music review” by Gregg Wager (“Seal Beach Chamber Music Is Rough, Aimless,” Calendar, June 24). I have listened to these accomplished musicians for years, and I do not believe they need to be reduced to a level as “rough and aimless.”
This unwarranted, highly critical review is not only unfair to these fine musicians but also is damaging to any reader of the L.A. Times who may, in the future, have second thoughts about attending these concerts.
To me, this is another instance where a critic warrants criticism.
