Some Perennials to Water Only One Time a Month

Times Garden Editor

This very impressive list of perennial flowering plants is suggested by author Ron Lutsko, in the summer issue of “Pacific Horticulture,” for gardens that “are watered only once a month during dry times.”

It contains fairly common plants and many with unpronounceable names that will be harder to find, but that is the challenge--to find interesting plants that need less water.
