Steve Lucero Wins at OC Speedway

Steve Lucero of Riverside won the four-lap scratch main event Friday in front of 2,462 in the weekly speedway program at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa.

Bobby Schwartz of Costa Mesa was second, Billy Hamill of Monrovia third and Brad Oxley of San Clemente fourth.

Jim Sisemore of Woodland won the eight-lap handicap main event. Hamill was second, Craig Welkie of New Zealand was third and Alan Christian of Murrieta fourth.

In a four-lap feature match race, Mike Faria of Riverside defeated Lucero.
