Honda Plans Exports to Israel: Honda Motor Co.’s U.S. manufacturing subsidiary plans to export cars to Israel beginning in fall 1990, a parent company spokesman confirmed. The U.S. arm already exports cars to Japan, South Korea and Taiwan. But few Japanese companies, including auto makers, have engaged in trade with Israel, fearing retaliation by Arab nations. The spokesman said the U.S. unit is researching the Israeli car market and that the number of exports and types of cars have yet to be decided.
