The budget includes $1 million for new classes and improvements in existing programs, about $111,000 in student financial aid and $240,765 for the children’s center. In addition, $100,000 in new equipment has been allocated for the college’s police academy.

Pamela Cox, public information officer for the two-year college, said the new budget shows that the school is strong financially and programs are continuing to grow.
