‘Obvious Reasons’ to Separate Trash
Both Los Angeles and Santa Monica have instituted separate garbage pickup in test sections of their cities. I suggest that all South Bay cities, especially the largest, Torrance, conduct similar test programs, if they haven’t already done so. The reasons for separate garbage pickup are obvious. Since it will take years to educate the public to implement this environmental project, time is of the essence.
Hopefully, the early results of the trial tests in other cities will provide sufficient data to implement South Bay cities’ programs ASAP.
