Anaheim : Charismatic Catholic Convention Under Way
The annual Catholic Charismatic Convention starting today in Anaheim has drawn 6,000 registrants--the most in its 18-year history, officials said.
Up to 3,000 more participants are expected to register at the door, according to a spokesman for Serving Catholic Renewal in the Church, the organization commissioned by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles to serve the charismatic movement within the church.
