Volvo Sets Sales Record

Volvo Cars of North America sold 10,435 cars in the United States last month, the highest sales level for August in the company’s 33 years in the U.S. market, Volvo reported today. The August sales figure is up 9% from 9,543 in the comparable month a year ago and is more than 300 cars ahead of the previous August record, set in 1986, Volvo said.
