By that time, women are unable to defend themselves.” The statement that women are unable to defend themselves is dangerously irresponsible.

If you are a woman in Maria Navarro’s position, I suggest that you buy a small revolver, requiring that the store provide you with information on local shooting and safety instruction before you buy; attend your class, and ask how to padlock your gun to keep your kids safe.

Don’t buy the argument that you can’t protect yourself.
