McDonald’s Tests New Chicken Product: The world’s largest restaurant chain, McDonald’s Corp., is testing bone-in fried chicken at a handful of outlets in Dallas and Houston, a spokesman said. The fast-food chain currently sells chicken filet sandwiches and bite-sized Chicken McNuggets. The spokesman declined to give details on the test. Merrill Lynch analyst William Trainer said McDonald’s is most likely conducting a so-called operational test in which it experiments with recipes.
