Trump Name Won’t Adorn TV Series
Donald Trump, whose name already adorns two casinos, a Manhattan skyscraper, an air shuttle, a bicycle race and a board game, scrapped plans to go video today due to a contractural snag, a publicist said.
The billionaire developer was to join Thursday with executives from Lorimar Television and Warner Brothers to announce plans for “Trump Card,” a new television series, but the deal fell through, said Barry Stagg, spokesman for Warner Bros. Television.
Stagg said the negotiations would continue, although there would be no announcement on the show’s status until next week at the earliest.
