Placentia : City Hires Some Help for Redevelopment
The City Council is moving to streamline its redevelopment process by hiring a law firm and consulting company to assist the city staff.
The council decided Tuesday night to spend $25,000 to hire a consulting firm to help the staff prepare redevelopment reports that now take 10 to 12 months to write. The city will be soliciting bids for that contract.
The law firm of Yocca, Carlson & Rauth was retained for $35,000 to provide counsel to the Placentia Redevelopment Agency and assist in establishing new redevelopment project areas.
