Although the so-called AK-47 might outwardly resemble the real thing, it is not an “assault rifle.” The distortion of the term was a deliberate tactic to smear virtually every firearm by branding it as militaristic. Your article smeared the NRA in many ways but entirely omitted perhaps the strongest reason the NRA and the American citizens have suffered the recent setbacks: the enormous media bias.
