Gauss, a Sun Valley producer of loudspeakers and other audio equipment, named Paul V. Hugo as national sales manager for its loudspeakers group. Hugo had been vice president of Audio Reinforcement Technologies in Miami, a company he co-founded.

Gauss, a unit of Mark IV Industries, also appointed Joe O’Connor as customer service manager for its audiotape duplicating machines. O’Connor had been a custom-service engineer in that department.
