Sam Yau, controller and treasurer of Archive Corp., has been named a vice president. Yau joined Archive, a Costa Mesa-based cartridge tape drive manufacturer, in 1987. Before that, he held financial management and controller positions with Michaels Stores Inc., Mostek Corp. and Texas Instruments in Dallas and Singapore.
