MEXICO CITY —
The only passenger to survive last week’s crash of a chartered Cuban airliner in a Havana suburb has died, the Prensa Latina news agency said Tuesday.
Luigi Capalbo, 22, of Parma, Italy, died Monday at a hospital in Havana, the Cuban government agency said in a dispatch monitored in Mexico.
The other 114 passengers and 11 crew members were killed when the Cubana de Aviacion plane crashed into Boyeros, a residential area half a mile from the Havana airport, on Sept. 3.
