‘Ivan’ Appeal Delayed

JERUSALEM —
Israel’s High Court of Justice has agreed to postpone for a third time the appeal of Nazi war criminal John Demjanjuk, a Justice Ministry spokeswoman has announced.
Demjanjuk, a retired U.S. auto worker, was convicted April 13, 1988, of being the sadistic guard “Ivan the Terrible,” who helped kill thousands of Jews at the Treblinka death camp in Nazi-occupied Poland.
