Iraqis Warned: Don’t Throw Cash at Dancers

BAGHDAD, Iraq —
The government of Iraq has banned nightclub patrons from throwing their cash at dancers and other entertainers, newspapers reported Wednesday.
“Such practices stand counter to public morals and manners, humiliate national Iraqi currency and harass feelings of other people,” the Baghdad papers quoted the Interior Ministry as saying. Also, police have been ordered to arrest those “who practice such deviated discipline.”
