Trabuco Church
Regarding your story on Trabuco Canyon (Aug. 6) and Janet Brennan’s comments (Aug. 27 letters), I have a question. How can building a church on this land be considered intrusive?
A chemical plant or a nuclear plant could be cause for alarm if proposed for that area. But a church?
A church, if sensitively designed to harmonize with the natural beauty of the area, could hardly be considered more intrusive than, say, the Ritz-Carlton, which stirred no small controversy when it was first proposed.
It appears now that people, for the most part, have come to accept and enjoy it.
Do you really think He would mind?
