Actor George Hamilton has been described by federal authorities as an unindicted co-conspirator of former Philippine First Lady Imelda Marcos, it was reported today.

Hamilton’s name appeared on documents filed in U.S. District Court in connection with the case against Marcos, according to New York Newsday.

An indictment last October charged that Marcos and her husband, the late Philippine President Ferdinand E. Marcos, stole $168 million from the Philippine treasury.

Also named were Manhattan real estate developers Joseph and Ralph Bernstein, who are brothers, and the Marcos children, Irene, Imee and Ferdinand Jr., the newspaper said.

The list of unindicted co-conspirators was included in a pretrial motion filed by one of Marcos’ co-defendants, California Overseas Bank.

The actor, known for his perpetual tan and for his portrayal of a vampire in the movie “Love at First Bite,” has denied rumors that he and Marcos were romantically linked.
