MEDFLY SPRAYING AREAS

The state agriculture department tonight will continue aerial spraying of malathion in the shaded areas for the second night in a row. The spraying, intended to help eradicate the crop-threatening Mediterranean fruit fly, will begin at 9 p.m. and continue for five or six hours. Residents are advised to cover their cars.
