VTN Corp. posted record earnings for the fiscal year ended May 31, 1989, despite flat revenue. Earnings for fiscal 1989 totaled $713,333, contrasted with a profit of $198,565 a year ago. Revenue was $12.4 million, compared with $12.3 million in fiscal 1988. VTN, headquartered in Orange, is an international engineering, land planning and consulting firm. According to Daniel C. Montano, chairman, a turnaround of VTN was begun more than four years ago. The company is currently involved in a joint venture to develop a resort/retirement project in the Philippines.
